Green Cycle

The Green Cycle Competition is one of the essential elements of LANXESS’ culture of Corporate Responsibility: we always want to grow and develop together with our communities.

It is part of our Corporate Responsibility policy – called e3 initiative – which establishes the areas in which LANXESS gets involved: education, ecology, economy.

LANXESS believes it is necessary to foster a discussion about sustainability with the community and its employees, in order to contribute to environmental awareness and social engagement among these audiences. This is why the company runs environmental project competitions in the cities where it has production units.

More than offering financial resources to bring these ides to life – evaluated and judged in partnership with the City Hall representatives and local media in each edition of the environmental competition – Green Cycle has an educational aspect, offering the projects selected workshops on social and environmental project management run by a specialist consultancy.
